Introduction

Welcome to Petcix Academy (“we,” “our,” “us,” or “the Academy”), an educational and vocational training platform associated with Petcix Pet Services and Gram Tarakki Foundation.

Institutional Alliance & Scope

These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of our website, courses, enrollment services, student portal, and related educational services.

By accessing our website, submitting an enrollment application, or enrolling in a course, you agree to comply with these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use our services.

02

About Petcix Academy

Petcix Academy provides vocational education and practical training opportunities in pet care and related fields, including the care and handling of dogs, cats, rabbits, birds, and other animals, depending on the courses offered.

Our objective is to help learners develop practical skills, gain relevant knowledge, pursue certification where available, and explore career opportunities in the pet-care industry.

Course Variation: Course availability, content, duration, eligibility requirements, fees, and learning methods may vary by program.

03

Eligibility and Registration

To enroll in a course, students must satisfy the eligibility requirements specified for that particular program.

By registering, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information.
  • Submit genuine documents and a valid photograph when required.
  • Use your own email address and contact information, where applicable.
  • Correct any inaccurate information submitted during enrollment.
  • Follow the Academy's enrollment procedures and applicable course requirements.

Verification Right: The Academy reserves the right to request additional information to verify an application and to reject, suspend, or cancel an enrollment where information is materially false, fraudulent, incomplete, or otherwise fails to meet the stated requirements.

04

Course Information and Training

Students are responsible for reviewing the course description, eligibility criteria, duration, curriculum, fees, and other relevant details before enrolling.

The Academy will make reasonable efforts to deliver the training described for each program. However, course schedules, trainers, learning materials, delivery methods, or practical sessions may occasionally change due to operational requirements, animal welfare considerations, trainer availability, or other circumstances.

Any material changes will be communicated where reasonably practicable.

Students are expected to:

  • Attend scheduled classes and practical sessions.
  • Participate respectfully in learning activities.
  • Follow trainers' instructions and safety guidelines.
  • Treat animals humanely and responsibly.
  • Use training equipment only as instructed.
  • Complete required assessments and coursework.

Failure to follow training or safety requirements may result in restricted participation or disciplinary action.

05

Enrollment and Confirmation

Submitting an enrollment form does not necessarily guarantee admission.

Enrollment will be confirmed after the Academy completes the required verification and applicable payment or admission procedures.

Once enrollment is confirmed, students may receive an Enrollment ID, enrollment confirmation, or downloadable enrollment form.

Students should review their enrollment documents carefully and contact the Academy promptly if they identify any errors.

06

Course Fees and Payments

Course fees will be communicated through the relevant course page, enrollment form, or official communication channel. Depending on the course, payment may be required in full or through approved installments.

Students agree to:

  • Pay the applicable course fees according to the stated payment schedule.
  • Use authorized payment methods.
  • Provide accurate transaction details when requested.
  • Retain payment confirmations for their records.
  • Contact the Academy if a payment is deducted but enrollment is not updated.

An enrollment or payment status displayed on the website may take time to update due to processing delays or technical issues.

Credential Security Warning: Students should never share their UPI PIN, banking password, OTP, or other confidential payment credentials with Academy personnel or any third party.

07

Refunds and Cancellations

Refund requests will be handled according to the Academy's applicable refund and cancellation policy, which should be communicated to students before payment.

The applicable policy should specify the conditions, deadlines, deductions, and process for requesting a refund.

Where a course is cancelled by the Academy, substantially changed, or cannot be delivered as promised, the Academy will communicate the available options and handle any refund or other remedy in accordance with its stated policy and applicable law.

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions is intended to exclude any refund or consumer right that cannot legally be excluded.

Important: Students should review the refund policy before completing payment. The Academy should publish a separate, clear refund policy before accepting online payments.

08

Student Accounts and Access

Petcix Academy may provide students with access to a personal student account or portal.

Students agree to:

  • Use their accounts only for legitimate educational purposes.
  • Keep account access information confidential.
  • Avoid attempting to access another person's account.
  • Avoid sharing restricted course materials or personal account information.
  • Notify the Academy if they suspect unauthorized access.

The Academy may temporarily restrict account access to investigate security concerns, suspected misuse, or violations of these terms.

Students must not attempt to disrupt the website, bypass security measures, access restricted data, or interfere with the operation of the platform.

09

Enrollment Forms and Documents

Students may be provided with downloadable enrollment forms or other documents containing their registration and payment information.

These documents are intended for personal record-keeping and legitimate educational purposes.

Students are responsible for checking the accuracy of the information displayed on downloaded documents and requesting corrections where necessary.

The Academy may update or correct records to address verified errors, subject to applicable record-keeping requirements.

10

Certificates and Assessments

Certificates, completion records, or other credentials may be issued where applicable to the relevant course.

Eligibility for a certificate may depend on course completion, attendance, practical participation, assessments, fee clearance, and other stated requirements.

Assessment Requirement: Enrollment alone does not guarantee the award of a certificate. Students must not forge, alter, misuse, or falsely claim any Academy-issued certificate or credential.

The Academy will communicate any applicable certification requirements before or during the course.

11

Placement Assistance and Career Opportunities

Petcix Academy may provide career guidance, placement assistance, job information, or introductions to potential employers, depending on the course and available opportunities.

Assistance Scope: Placement assistance does not constitute a guarantee of employment, a specific salary, a job offer, or a particular career outcome. Employment decisions depend on a student's skills, performance, eligibility, interview results, employer requirements, and market conditions.

Any specific placement commitment or guarantee expressly offered in writing will be governed by its stated terms and applicable law.

Students are responsible for evaluating employment offers and verifying the identity and terms of prospective employers.

12

Animal Welfare and Practical Training Safety

Zero Cruelty & Humane Standards

Where a course involves handling or caring for animals, students must follow all applicable animal welfare rules, trainer instructions, hygiene requirements, and safety procedures.

Non-Negotiable Welfare Rules:

  • Students must not intentionally harm, frighten, abuse, or unnecessarily distress any animal.
  • Unsafe handling, unauthorized procedures, or disregard of trainer instructions may result in immediate removal from a practical session or further disciplinary action.
  • The Academy may modify or suspend practical activities when necessary to protect animal welfare, students, trainers, or the public.
  • Students must promptly report any safety concern, injury, or animal welfare issue to the responsible trainer or Academy representative.
13

Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, the Academy's website content and original educational materials—including text, graphics, logos, course documents, videos, designs, and training resources—are owned by or licensed to the Academy or the relevant rights holder.

Students may use authorized learning materials for their personal educational purposes.

Without prior written permission or another applicable legal basis, users must not:

  • Copy or redistribute restricted course materials commercially.
  • Reproduce or sell Academy materials as their own.
  • Use Academy branding or logos in a misleading manner.
  • Publish or distribute restricted training content without authorization.

These terms do not remove rights that users may have under applicable copyright law.

14

Website Use and Prohibited Activities

Users must not use the website to:

  • Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information.
  • Impersonate another person or organization.
  • Upload malicious files or attempt unauthorized access.
  • Disrupt website functionality or compromise security.
  • Violate another person's privacy or intellectual property rights.
  • Use the platform for unlawful or abusive purposes.

The Academy may investigate suspected violations and take reasonable action, including restricting access or reporting unlawful activity to the appropriate authorities where required.

15

Third-Party Services

The website may use or link to third-party services, including payment providers, hosting platforms, databases, communication tools, and external websites.

These services may be subject to separate terms and privacy policies.

The Academy is not responsible for independent third-party services beyond the responsibilities imposed on it by applicable law or any agreement with the relevant provider.

16

Website Availability and Changes

We aim to keep the website accessible and functional. However, temporary interruptions may occur because of maintenance, technical failures, connectivity issues, security measures, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

The Academy may update website features, course listings, content, and service functionality from time to time.

Where a change materially affects an existing student's course or enrollment, the Academy will provide appropriate communication where reasonably practicable.

17

Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the Academy will not be responsible for losses arising from temporary website unavailability, unauthorized access caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, or a user's misuse of the platform.

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes or limits liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, negligence, or any other liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

Nothing in these terms removes any statutory rights or remedies available to students or consumers under applicable law.

18

Suspension and Termination

The Academy may suspend or terminate a user's access to its website, account, or training services where reasonably necessary because of:

  • A serious or repeated violation of these terms.
  • Fraudulent enrollment or payment activity.
  • Unauthorized access or security threats.
  • Serious misconduct or animal welfare violations.
  • A legal or regulatory requirement.

Where appropriate, the Academy will communicate the reason and any available resolution process.

Any suspension or termination will be handled in accordance with applicable law and any relevant contractual or refund obligations.

19

Privacy and Personal Information

The collection and handling of personal information are governed by the Petcix Academy Privacy Policy.

By using the website or enrolling in a course, students acknowledge that their information may be processed for enrollment administration, training, payments, communication, certification, and other purposes described in that policy, subject to applicable consent and legal requirements.

Students should review the Privacy Policy to understand how their information is handled.

20

Changes to These Terms

The Academy may revise these Terms and Conditions to reflect changes in its services, policies, operational practices, or applicable law.

The updated terms will be published on the website with a revised “Last Updated” date.

Where required by law, we will provide appropriate notice or obtain consent before applying material changes to existing arrangements.

Continued use of the website after updated terms take effect constitutes acceptance only to the extent permitted by applicable law. Where fresh consent is legally required, continued use alone will not replace that consent.

21

Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms and Conditions are subject to the applicable laws of India.

Any dispute will be addressed through good-faith communication where reasonably possible. If the dispute cannot be resolved informally, it may be referred to the appropriate legal forum having jurisdiction under applicable law.

Nothing in this section limits a consumer's right to approach a competent consumer forum or other authority where such a right is available under law.
